When you visit our campus, you get a sense of the family and kinship that pervades everything we do. Our dedicated teaching and administrative staff ensure seamless transition of the children into engaged learners. Our vibrant and responsive teaching – learning ensures to give every child the very best start possible in their education. We enable the children to become active learners by offering challenging broad and balanced International Baccalaureate and Cambridge curriculum programs.

Traditional education focuses on teaching, not learning. It is based on the theory that knowledge is not shared, but rather constructed within each individual through either inductive or deductive reasoning. In a Learning Environment, the presentation of content is not as important as the discovery of the underlying patterns and concepts that constructed the content.

TIPS classroom is a student-centred learning environment. Activities are designed to stimulate intellectual curiosity and to equip students with the skills to become independent learners. Structured inquiry, critical thinking, activities in which students may learn through experience are used in the classroom. The teacher is a facilitator of the learning process.

Every classroom is equipped with arts, craft, reading, math & music learning centres along with latest technological tools as appropriate for the grade.

Dancing requires memorization and so helps children improve their overall memory when trying to remember steps. Dancing improves listening skills in children, whether it is for the instructions or for the beats. Dancing imbibes social skills in children and teaches them how to interact with their peers in a positive and a non-competitive manner. By participating in dance events, they experience what it is to participate in pure cooperative and collaborative group endeavours. They best learn to be supportive, to truly work as a team and to compromise. Dancing, in any form is an enjoyable and a wonderful form of exercise. Dancing helps the body’s circulatory system and improves cardiovascular health.

Dance improves the flexibility and helps with a much better posture and improves muscle tone. The lack of physical activity and consequent obesity problem amongst children can be offset by dance. Dancing helps to relax, reducing stress and tension. We can undoubtedly say that dancing is tantamount to children’s overall education, personality development and well-being.

Friedrich Nietzsche rightly reflected, “Dancing in all its forms cannot be excluded from the curriculum of all noble education: dancing with the feet, with ideas, with words, and, need I add that, one must also be able to dance with the pen?”

We all love watching little children dance around the room with little or no inhibition, singing along with their favourite songs in a voice that’s clear and strong, though maybe a little out of tune. Music is an obvious outlet for self-expression and creativity. But far beyond providing an opportunity to sing and dance, researchers have shown that a strong musical education provides so much more. Music, for example, develops self-discipline. The child who allots time for practicing each day is known to develop similar habits in conjunction with other subjects as well. Organizational skills increase & the child learns to excel in various fields of learning.

Ensemble experience also builds teamwork. Band members learn the importance of being a reliable member of a group and are educated as to the importance of being a team player and not necessarily always “the star.”

Scientists have also discovered that learning to read music or play a musical instrument develops higher thinking skills. The child who is skilled at music excels at problem-solving, evaluation, and analysis. Music reading uses the same portion of the brain that’s used in mathematical thinking.

We believe that it is essential that music must be taught throughout the curriculum, and not just in separate areas such as orchestra and tuitions. That is one way we can assure opportunities for all students to develop their capacities more fully. Students from Kindergarten through Senior School are involved in learning Indian Classical music and Instruments.
